How to Make a Good Impression (with assistance)
1. Start out by sitting in a chair with your back straight. Your hips, knees and ankles should be at 90 degree angles.
2. Gently place your bare foot on the foam impression material, but do not apply pressure.
3. Slowly push down on your knee while the person helping you guides your heel downward, about two inches into the foam.
4. Next, press the top of your foot into the foam so that the ball of your feet and your toes are at the same depth as your heel.
5. Remove your foot carefully by lifting it directly up out of the foam.
6. Repeat with your other foot.
7. Your impression should look like the photo shown below.
How to Make a Good Impression (without assistance)
1. Stand straight with the foam impression box on the floor in front of you. Be sure to hold on to a wall, table or chair for balance and support.
2. With your ankle at a 90 degree angle, place your foot gently on the surface of the foam.
3. Slowly push your heel into the foam about 2 inches deep.
4. Then push the ball of your foot and toes into the foam to the same depth as your heel.
5. Remove your foot carefully by lifting it directly up out of the foam.
6. Repeat with your other foot.
7. Your impression should look like the photo to the below.
